about

The Republican party has sent a clear message to its Conservative base: they feel they no longer need us.

.... That feeling is mutual.

The Great GOP Walkout

We the undersigned declare that the Republican Party has abandoned its conservative principles. As conservatives first, we announce that in protest of this betrayal of our party's roots, we will, on September 5, 2008, withdraw our registration from the Republican party.

On September 4, 2008, the Republican National Convention will name Arizona Senator John McCain as its 2008 Presidential nominee. By nominating a man who has built his political career by sticking his finger in the eye of the GOP’s conservative-base, the Republican party sends a clear message to its base: they feel they no longer need us.

That feeling is mutual.

Join ConservativeRebellion.org and officially leave the Republican Party on September 5 - the day after McCain is declared the nominee. Register as an independent, or join another party. Just make it known that when John McCain becomes the standard-bearer of a party, that party no longer represents you! When thousands of members leave on the same day, the GOP must take notice!

If you feel the same as us, sign the pledge above and be counted among the ranks of disaffected conservatives who vow to leave the Republican Party on September 5!
